Statewide – CCV and Green Up Vermont are both celebrating our 50th anniversaries in 2020. When CCV began, we did not have academic centers, only site offices. Classes were held in free community spaces such as schools, offices, banks, churches, and libraries. Even with the academic centers of today, CCV has no central campus, and we often wittily refer to the state of Vermont as “our campus.” With this in mind, we invite everyone who is part of our CCV community – students, staff, faculty and alumni – to join us in cleaning up “our campus” on Green Up Day in 2020! Sub-teams in each of the 12 communities we serve across the state will clean up the roadsides and waterways as one large statewide CCV team on May 30th.
